Heritage Documentation & Conservation
As part of its heritage conservation mission, Helping Tree Foundation collaborated with the Natural Heritage Division of INTACH, New Delhi, to survey and document seven designated National Water Heritage Sites in Gujarat.
The project involved photography, data collection, site visits, and stakeholder interactions. The sites documented were:
- Rani ki Vav, Patan
- Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad
- Chandola Lake, Ahmedabad
- Sarkhej Roza, Ahmedabad
- Lothal Docks, Lothal
- Hamirsar Lake, Bhuj
- Sudarshan Tal, Junagadh
The Foundation sincerely acknowledges the support of the Gujarat Government, local authorities, Archaeology Department officials, municipal authorities, and heritage experts who contributed to the successful completion of this initiative.
